Connection of concerns

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been trying to work out the best way to structure myself online.

I registered this domain when I was 14. It was first used as a photography blog, and I distinctly remember some awful use of textures, inspired by iOS 5. Remember subtlepatterns.com?

It vanished for a while, lying dormant as my interests shifted and life moved on. RIP, textures.

When I began studying Graphic Design & Illustration, I decided it was the perfect time to revive the site. It became my portfolio, evolving through countless iterations in an endless pursuit of the perfect site. Eventually, I had a portfolio that was used to showcase my work from the real world.

My portfolio has since moved to goodyear.design, leaving this site with a lack of purpose.

Going forward, it’s going to be a hub for all things me—a home for my thoughts, ideas, projects, travel, and everything in between. I’ve also brought over my small collection of travel photography posts, creating a sort of “connection of concerns”.

It feels like a fresh start, giving me a space to share whatever inspires me.
